It looks like they're going all out to advertise their "new" addon and site ... as it's popped up on my wowhead news feed: https://classic.wowhead.com/news=295075 ... -community

Time to reach out and suggest an alternative soon, perhaps?

Personally I am fine with the site.
Competition.. is a great pusher for innovation.

If/When Metalbeast is ready to accept the Classic data we will be able to display better data then the other site can, due to their file structure.. and probably their allowed site traffic/server resources.

Wait, they have a metric for tracking gender through census? How? LOL.

Edit: Wait. This is the site that Armory crawls. They're not Classic WoW focused at all.

Sex of character is one of the items the /who api call returns...
but what value is it when you can costume and pretend to be the opposite sex?
Same reason why I decided to not re-enable the mouse-over/ target data tracking feature.

No sooner then I had implemented it, Blizzard changed the code and made costumes less detectable.

Also, check the link given again.. the mention that Armory crawls won't work for Classic.. and are pointing to the Forked CensusPlus version, which only provides general stats and not specific character stats.

yeah it's pretty much useless except for the very broad picture.
