It has been my experience that in order to move up, you'll have to put in consecutive weeks of good standing. Just one week of hitting it hard will only garner you so much of an increse.

Actually, as long as your in the 51-60 range, you can jump up quickly. I spent most of my time before 60 not PVP'ing in WSG. Once I hit 60 and started to get bored, I decided to try it out. I progressed from Scout -> Sergeant(bypassed grunt) -> Senior Sergeant(according to the graph and rating I was very close to making First Sergeant). But after 3 weeks of bg'ing I started to burn out from all the "Core" groups. I've not PVP'd much in about a month and am still high in the "Senior Sergeant" category.

Once you get first sergeant it is a bish to keep it without getitng 50k+ a week.

You can get there making 10-15k a week and then lose it for maintaining that 10-15k only.

Its sad I've lost First Sergeant twice and due to some time off I was able to get it back now and now my playtime is gone again.

I pushed damn harde and got 3/4 of it knocked out and now I fear I will be going backwards again. 1 hour today and all I got was 7 kills

I've been at Senior Sergeant now for over 3 weeks with less than 10 HK's in those past few weeks, and little to no Honor. Not sure why I'm not decreasing so quickly but I do like it. I went in for 3 BG's today, won 2 and lost 1 with 92 HK's, hoping to keep to my usual 3 bg's a day minimum, that usually garners me 30k Honor.

I really haven't been all into it this weekend cause I was all busy-like, but today I'm gonna put all my time into WSG when I get home. Hooray!

The fact that you guys are on different servers, and are ranks based on compared to others? If so then that would take part.

so i was wondering how i gain rank is it by kills or by winning the talisman of merit. i had heard that hk's dont really count and that its based on the lossess or wins done in bg.
