More fun stuff, ready for testing!

So I finally got around to adding profile support!

This is support for the widely available CharacterProfiler addon. The current version supported is 1.212 and can be downloaded here:

Afterwards, be sure to take at least one Census snapshot, and then upload the data to WarcraftRealms via the usual method, ie the Submit Data link:

If the profile data was found, you will see a link to process your CharacterProfiler data. Click the YES link and you should see the data processed.

Once I am happy with the way this is being handled, I will probably just process all files instead of having the optional link to click to get your info processed.

If a character has a profile listed for it, there will be a link to the Profile from the Character History page for that character.

This is very much in testing, so please let me know if you find any bugs or see something amiss. I hope you enjoy this new feature!!

For the moment, only manual upload. I will add support for Uniupload as soon as I am happy that everything works well.

Should I make this an opt in feature? I can actually agree with you on that part. I don't know that I'd want folks to see that kind of stuff either. But then again, others might.

What do you suggest?

i suggest not showing Bank/Inventory is kinda pointless

I have to say well done on the profile support.

I know I'll be adding it to my sig ^_^.

EDIT: Would it be possible so it shows up as a link on the "Character History Page", as well as a link from the "My Character's" Page? I don't want to have to upload my info every time I want to look at my character.

There should already be a link on the Character History page. I might add a link in the My Characters page as well.

this is very cool but for some reason its not working for me, i am not doing something right

i have the file unzipped in the proper place and all that, but i am not getting any info.

This is great, very easy to add to my normal census

Is it even possible to get profiles from other players? Like maybe from inspecting them or anything, or is the game built in such a way that it's not a possibility..?

This is very cool, I think we are going to try to use this for our guild's banker character. That way we can view its inventory while the owner isn't logged in. So in particular, the inventory and banking features ARE needed!

I can see why people in general won't want to have this be known for their day to day characters but it definitely has a use.
