WarcraftRealms Finally Goes Gold Free

Post by Rollie »

Well, all outstanding obligations have been fulfilled and I have officially gone gold free. You should see no more advertisements for gold, power leveling, account or item sales. If you happen to see anything, please post about it here and let me know the URL of the site you see so I can make sure it gets removed by any 3rd party advertisers!

With all the gold ads gone people might use this site more, and actually Blizz might add it as an official fan site.

***.com
***.net.cn

On the bottom it said Ads by Google.

Yeah, it'll be an on going battle with the Google ads. As new ones pop up, I'll have to add them to the filter, so just keep posting them here!

and at the download for the kill list addon page there is a
text ad: *make 200g per hour*

and a jonahs guide to leveling horde 1-60.

and the ad that shows a mailbox full of successful auctions... also the same text ad.

also... why the hell does it say that the sponsors are gold selling sites??

gold making guides I would put in a separate category. They tell you the same things... buy low sell high, sell reagents, get people to make things for you and then sell them at a mark up. Gold free would be more of "BUY GOLD HERE!".

Johannas and anything of the leveling guide nature I find it in the same categories... best practices you already knew, put together, with a put together fee.

Guides are fine, the sponsors thing was a mistake, hadn't removed them, thanks for pointing it out!
