I think you need at least 64 to run auctioneer now, so that could be one.

Rollie, sorry to have pointed the finger at you, when it seems to have only been a coincidence that C+ had just been added when everything went amuck. My sound card just died on me, and now that I think back on the things that were happening to my computer it is making sense. SO I'm back to using C+ and uploading, just wish UU would have a 'remember this location' for the new variables directory.
