My RL is partly caused by WoW lol, met a great guy in the guild I joined for the start of WotLK, got to be really good friends and it kinda turned into a relationship ;) Since he lives 400 miles away it eats weekends travelling to meet up, and rest of the time we're chatting on MSN - way fun but has kinda reduced the time available for WoW :)

:D Nice for you Balgair... :D You are not the first one I know to have that happen... Just recently two people I know in a guild fell in love. Now he is about go meet her for the first time, to a different country no less. I have wished both of them well, I will do the same to you! :D

Unfortunately I have not been so lucky. :(

I have, however, been lucky enough to get a part-time job for a couple of months. So far it has worked out fine. As I mostly work early mornings, when server populations are low anyway, it does not cause a major hit on my submissions either. :D

Aww how sweet, I'm really glad to hear it. The GF and I didn't meet on wow but back in the AOL days, and she's moving in with me in 2 weeks. Eek!

Thanks guys, maybe not the most usual way to meet somebody but seems to be working well so far - here's hoping it caries on that way :)

Wow nice :) Great to hear about other couples who met that way, you hear so much negativity about people meeting in games and so on, so I like hearing positive stories as well! Been about 3 months here and working great, hopefully that will carry on :)

I was playing DAOC one day and this chick with a sword shows up... a few years later here I am, 3000 miles away in the US, 2 kids, house etc. :)
