Re: Seaching Characters with Alt Codes

perhaps if you had another character you could find, in the same guild, then look at the guild details from there and see if the character with the other character in (?!) shows up?

Re: Site and addon status: patch 9.0

Indeed .. I believe I have been the only one uploading for my realm for many years - but then, honestly, that's primarly the data I looked back on anyway. The overall realm data has been interesting, simply to check on the activity of other realms, but from a personal point of view, especially once ...

Re: Site and addon status: patch 9.0

Sad but not unexpected. It's a pity we couldn't just have two databases .. a static "before" and a new one starting from scratch. But .. as the addon doesn't work any longer anyway ... Thank you everyone for all your work to keep things running - it would be really nice to at least have the database...

Re: Warning: newly connected realms have broken some things...

I've noticed the who window popping up regularly for me too. And I'm not on Draenor .. in fact my realm is pretty quite. It only seems to happen when I'm in an instance though? It's either that, or the "slow connection" error message in chat .. to be honest I'm usually busy when I see it, so have ju...

Re: Shadowlands is possibly end of the line

Sad to hear. I still use it .. primarily in order to check guild history on applicants, but I've also found it really useful - especially the census addon - to get a good understanding of activity on a realm. It's always been rather nice seeing someone on the Blizzard forums complain how their realm...

Re: Uniuploader

Brilliant, that was it ... thank you :-)

I'd done most of it, but obviously mucked something up, as it now works - I just have to remember my password now so it links it to me :P

Uniuploader

I've just treated myself to a nice sparkly new computer and have been going through the job of installing everything that I need on it. I've installed uniuploader as it's the way I prefer to upload data to this site, however, I can't find the page that describes how to actually set it up! I'm pretty...

Re: Status of site 3-Feb-2020

I tend to use the daily and weekly faction activity - usually when someone says "there's never anyone online on my faction" or "what's the faction balance like". Other than that, it's mainly the character and guild history - although I don't think I've specifically been able to search for a guild fo...

oh interesting about the Armory changes coming .. any more info about that? I did a quick search on Blizz forums, wowhead and google and couldn't find anything. Re: Known issue with mouse-click census taking - workaround

Ah cool. I'd worked out there must be a conflict and had seen mention of only using game world interactions, so once I disabled the other option (and reloaded) it started working like a charm. As I tend to use my mouse fairly regularly to move, it works pretty quickly and smoothly. The only thing I'...

Re: Status of this site 30-dec-2019

Sorry .. couldn't work out how to edit, so just hit "reply" again :p I've also noticed that on the character screen it has an Armory link, however, at least for those of us in the EU, that link doesn't work. It sends us to the US Armory front page.

Re: Status of this site 30-dec-2019

Glad to hear that there is still some hope. I've been trying to pull data from the search box - just some simple stuff like a couple of my own characters, and neither of them bring up any data. Is this because the link I'm using is old and going to the wrong place, or because the data hasn't been re...

I think it's up to the guys who are putting in all the hard work on this site and the addon to decide whether or not it is reasonable for them to spend the time and effort on it. From a purely personal point of view, I'd be VERY sad to see this site go because it will just be another thing that resp...

From what I understand (which is very little!) it looks like the intention is possibly for the addon to "automate" sort of, by using any hardware events to trigger the next /who? So when you do a keyboard press, or mouse press? It will take longer to take a full census, but I often play for more tha...
